May 26 – June 10, 2005

DETAILED ITINERARY
	May 26	Arrive at Athens Airport. Accommodations at Herodion Hotel We will meet together as a group in the late afternoon, depending upon everyone’s arrival times, photography and perhaps a twilight shoot of the Acropolis before dinner. Images of Athens
	May 27	Explore and Photograph major archeological sites of Athens - all are within walking distance of our hotel. The Acropolis is about 2 minutes away.
	May 28	Depart Athens for Mykonos. Accommodations at Kouros Hotel, within easy walking distance of the town. Images of Mykonos
	May 29 Through June 1	During our 5 days on the island, we will be exploring and photographing the whitewashed main town of Mykonos, including the harbour, churches, streets, windmills and tavernas. We will also be shooting at sunrise, sunset and twilight as well as going on an optional day trip to the Island of Delos, Images of Delos.
	June 2	Depart Mykonos 2:30 PM for Santorini via High Speed Catamaran, arrive 5:20 PM.
	Through June 5	Accommodations at the Ira Hotel, halfway between the main town of Fira (Fhee-rah) and Imerovigli (eh-meer-oh-VIG-lee), where we will be concentrating on our photography. These towns provide a wealth of photographic opportunities in various lighting situations as well as the magnificent caldera view. During our time here we will be renting cars and travelling to the south end of the island to see the excavations at Akrotiri (the lost land of Atlantis) and to some of the smaller villages on the island. 	June 6 Through June 9	Transfer to the north end of Santorini to the village of Oia (EE'-ah), accommodations at the Caldera Villas. These 4 days will be spent exploring and photographing the town of Oia. Since 80% of the pictures that Greece uses for all of its tourism photos were taken in this town, there is no shortage of photographic possibilities. There will also be the option of a boat trip to the volcano, inside the caldera, giving us the opportunity of seeing Santorini at its best, from the sea. Images of Oia
	June 10	Depart Santorini for Athens and flights home. Depending on flight times, there might be the necessity of an extra night in Athens. Most people have booked at the Airport Holiday Inn , it’s not right at the airport about 10 minutes away by complimentary shuttle bus.
