ITINERARY This tour will be 17 days - 15 nights in length. Athens - The Capital City of Greece combines the old and new with classical sites and modern buildings. Not to be missed are the Parthenon on top of the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora and the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square. Mykonos - Mykonos is the cosmopolitan centre of the Cyclades. Windmills, whitewashed cube-shaped houses are scattered about. In the narrow streets of the town, chapels, homes and picturesque tavernas hide among the shops and stores.
Delos - short boat trip from Mykonos The ancient Holy Island of Delos is a vast archaeological site. For many centuries it was the religious centre of Greece. It was the centre of the circle of the Cyclades islands and the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Santorini -
Claimed by some to be the lost land of Atlantis, it's geological
particularities, it's past, and it's imposing scenery single out
Santorini (Thira) from the rest of the Cyclades. This unique island
captures all the essence of the Greek islands. It's bright white domed
houses and blue domed churches cling to the 1000-ft. cliff sides of the
caldera formed by the volcano's explosion in 1500 B.C. A whole
civilization is coming to light at the archaeological sites at
Akrotiri, the prehistoric city, where the ruins of Ancient Thira

DETAILS
The itinerary will be, 2 nights in Athens at the Divani Palace Acropolois - fly to Mykonos for 5 nights at the Kouros Hotel (Mykonos Town)- fly to Santorini, 4 nights at the Santorini Palace (Fira) and 4 nights at Fanari Villas (Oia) - fly back to Athens for connecting flights back home. Cost $2800.00 CDN = $1650.00 (US) per person (double occupancy), this includes accommodation at the hotels listed above, breakfast, domestic flights (Greece), transfers, and workshop tuition fee. Not included - airfare from your home to Athens, meals other than breakfast, items of personal nature, entrance fees to museums. The workshop will not be strictly regimented. My goal is for you to experience a good photo tour as well as a memorable vacation therefore, I have chosen high standard hotels. They are not inexpensive, however they are in the best locations for photo opportunities and will enhance your memories of Greece.
