© Garry Black Double Exposure (sort of) this is really a sandwich of two exposures - of the same subject. The first exposure is taken sharply in focus and 2 stops overexposed, then on the next frame of film the second exposure is thrown completely out of focus and overexposed by 1 stop. Then the 2 frames of film are mounted in a single slide mount. This technique was developed by Michael Orton, from British Columbia. His website offers many more variations as well as different techniques. |
