Hi To Everyone,

A last minute e-mail before I head off to New Hampshire.

YOUR PORTFOLIO
In past workshops I have asked participants to bring a selection of their most recent work. I wasn't going to for this workshop, but several people have inquired about bringing their slides. So I rethought this and as a result, I would like you to bring 20 - 40 slides. They can be of any subject, taken anywhere, at any time, they can be good or bad, or if you just want some else's opinion about them. It's not mandatory to bring any, but seeing them will allow me to evaluate where you are in terms of your photographic development. It's also fun to show them and talk about them with the other participants.

COFFEE AND BREAKFAST
If you have a spare coffee mug that you can throw into to bag (not at the expense of leaving a piece of photographic equipment at home) please bring it along. Otherwise you'll have to share my mug or drink from a cardboard cup.

We'll have breakfast at a cafe or somewhere on the first morning. I don't think we should hit the ground on our first day with our feet spinning. In other words, I think you would appreciate it if we just took it a little slower on the first full day, at least until we get breakfast out of the way. Once we get organized, we can pick up some breakfast snacks at the store for the other days.

PROCESSING CHEMICALS
Some of you have asked me how I was going to bring the processing chemicals across the border. Hopefully all will go well, but if they are confiscated I have located a source for them in Manchester, NH, so I might have to drive down there to get some more.

FOLIAGE REPORT
Here is a web link to the State of New Hampshire's foliage report http://www.visitnh.gov/foliagereports.html

If you have any more questions, now is the time to ask, I'll check my e-mail tomorrow morning before I leave, I'll be leaving around 11:00am. I'll leave instructions at the front desk of The Lantern for you when you check in. We will all have supper together (sometime between 6 and 7) if you are arriving later than that, it might an idea to pick something up along your way for supper. After supper (providing no one or at least most of don't fall asleep) we'll have an instructional slide show, tentative time 9:00pm. If you are going to be arriving after 6pm on Saturday could you please send me an e-mail to let me know.

See you on Saturday!

Garry
